Consistency & Leadership

This week I was talking to a coaching client who is new to a leadership role.

I have encouraged him to find a leader that he admires that he can hold as a north star.

Consistency is one of the most important leadership traits, and knowing how you want to lead is vital to maintain this - in good times and bad. It reminds me of some work I did a few years ago with a small team, their saying for the year was "What would Obama do?".

It was their way of quickly determining a course of action when time was short or there were multiple competing options.

Do you have a leader who is a north star for you?
